Destin West Rv #13 Towable RV

Place was clean, location is great, staffs are very friendly. I would have gave all 5 stars if it wasn’t for very disappointing shower and bathroom. I would definitely return if bathrooms were updated.

This was the 5th time we have stayed at Destin West RV. The park was well maintained and clean. The laundry facilities were clean and I was able to relax in the office lobby while washing. The bathrooms were clean. The pool although clean was cold. Had heard the heater was broke and they were waiting for a part but it never was repaired the 2 weeks we were there. Otherwise the pool is great. Enjoy using the amenities across the street at the Island.

Joe and JD were so accommodating and kind. I appreciate their help, kindness, and resources when our air went out in a very HOT August week. The manager I dealt with at the Resort was less than professional, but I greatly appreciated the guys on the property. They helped us get a company out to help us and a friend in the RV Resort to fix our items on our campers. My husband was away most of the week, and they checked on us daily to see if we needed any help. They went above the standard, and I appreciate that! Give them a raise!

RV spot was great as always, however the bath houses are in a terrible state of disrepair and need maintenance. We were there for 10 days and in 10 days the mens restroom on the bayside didn't have hand soap until the 9th day. The bathrooms are ran down and well used from our first stay 4 years ago. The bayside bathrooms really need ac to accommodate the guests and not just the bathhouses by the road. The bathhouses by the road didn't have consistent hot water. I tried to shower in the mens room once and it never got hot water to the shower and i showered in the womens restroom once and it was fluctuating from scalding hot to cool the whole time. Very disappointed in the lack of upkeep in all the bathrooms. One day the pool was closed for a health dept violation and the next day the bayside bathhouse was closed completely but the pool was open. The property outside of the baths and pool was great, however we have came for the last 4 years and next year we will be trying somewhere different.

Our third year in a row of spending a night and it never disappointed. Very nice pool and it’s own dock to the gulf in the back of the park make it fun to explore around. Very close the beach, like 2 blocks, but you’ll still want to drive because of the danger of crossing the very busy 4 lane road to get there..

My son and I drove from Butler, Pa to Destin West RB resort, hauling my camper for the first time. The stay away amazing!! The view, the wonderful people I met! The staff was tentative, polite and kind! Many amenities, beautiful grounds and right at the bay!

This was our first extended stay trip and our first time at Destin West RV Park. It was a great experience and we are looking forward to staying there again next year. The only issue we had was low water pressure.

We have stayed here 2 different times and love everything about it. Going again next year too!!

This was our 3rd year in a row camping at Destin West RV Resort at site #13. We absolutely love it here, and are already booked for next year! It’s clean, the people are always friendly, we love having access to the hotel across the street, and having a pool at the RV resort also for a more relaxing vibe.

Excellent park , well maintained, great location. We enjoyed the pool very much. The laundry room was clean and convenient. We left 4 days early due to the possible Hurricane Ian approaching. Asked to transfer some of our unused days to our reservation we made for next year and was told emphatically “no cancellation policy”. I understand but it would have been a nice customer service gesture for a repeat guest .

Great location right on the Bay. It is a walk to the beach especially with kids and lots of gear but you can do it. The resort was well maintained and clean. Bath houses were nice and clean. Pool was nice and clean and the view of the bay was really nice. Staff was very inviting and helpful.

This was our third time at Destin West. As always, it was very clean and staff was very professional and friendly. Being on the bay and close to the pool is always great when you have small kids. Amenities at the resort/beachside are awesome. Everything is within a few minutes and even walkable if necessary.

This resort was top notch... great service, super clean, and the use of the resort across the street was perfect!

The property is Beautiful and we truly enjoyed our stay! We’ve bragged about it already and will continue to do so going forward. Thank you for being such gracious, accommodating and friendly hosts.

Lovely campground. Staff was pleasant, helpful. Love the bay views. Pool was warm for January. Sites had plants that allow privacy. The area has nice restaurants and the Gulf right across the street.

Enjoyed this nice RV park. Nice paved pads, large sites, great location with easy access to beach and bay. Limited bathrooms (only 2) and the ones by the pool needed maintenance. Will stay again and recommend to others.

We have been here for several years in a row now, and each and every time our stay has been very enjoyable. The resort and staff are truly top notch. We enjoy it so much we already booked next November again. We look forward to the time when we can come and stay Jan and Feb as well.

Awesome place to stay . Very clean and beautiful . The bay views are amazing and a easy walk to beach . The use of The Island resort is a big convenience . Great location to the board walk and many others restaurants and activities . One on my favorites and I highly recommend it .

Th e place was great most of the staff were very help it was very clean and convenient to shopping, foo and entertainment.

Destin West was better than we expected. The site we picked was incredible. Close to the heated pool and water views. In my opinion the best travel trailer site in the park for those with kids. The pool was close to our camper and we could easily go back if we forgot anything. Our kids loved the dock and spent hours wading around the water catching stuff with their nets. Very easy to walk across the bridge to hit the beach and the amenities at the attached resort. The resort was clean and there was plenty of room between campsites. We loved it so much that as soon as we arrived, we immediately booked the same spot for next year's spring break.

Absolute gem! First time at this RV resort and we are already planning on scheduling a return visit. Staff were very friendly. Beautiful location. RV resort was pristine! Thank you for a great vacation

Very well kept campground. It was immaculate. The WiFi never failed. Great location and even better view. The site was well kept and the space had room for all our toys (bicycles, motorcycle, kayak and golf cart. The weather was really bad. We will return with better weather! The staff was very accommodating. Loved our stay! Will be back!!!

Great location and nice paved and level lots. Horrible WiFi performance which should be much better for the price of a night. Weather was not good enough to take Advantage of hotel amenities across the street. Didn’t use bathrooms so no comment there. Only 3 washers and they were always full. Would stay again.
