Destin West Rv #33 Towable RV

Location was beautiful, resort clean and well maintained. However the information including amenities for the island resort were disappointing. Apparently the whole town is shut down in winter, island resort only has one pool open slightly heated, because of winter season. Staff at Destin west are unaware of this, they have no knowledge of anything at the island. Not worth the money to stay at this resort in the winter season because the amenities are unavailable!

All was great except the pool it could use a cooling tower it felt like a hot tub instead of a swimming pool. Tehe shower house could use some cleaning and updates, but park overall is very nice

It was wonderful and the lots were perfect. Privacy lots and daily trash pickup was a perk most other campgrounds don’t do.

Nice place but Ricks was unbearable then the fire alarm going off all night was terrible. Nice park but the neighbors were terrible.

This was a small but very pretty and well maintained RV park. We stayed for a week in the spring and were able to enjoy the heated pool. Pontoon rental and a restaurant/bar were both within walking distance with easy access from the park. Getting across the busy 4 lane highway to the beach was a challenge. A designated crosswalk or even a stop light would have helped. Had a great time. Beautiful area.

The property was very nice, but there was absolutely no grass so all the sand in the area got in our motorhome, and it was a pain to keep up with the dog very disappointed on what we paid to stay there to have all the sand around

Knew it would be a great location. Small Park, which is actually nice. I know its winter time, but having mulch instead of sand around the camp pad would be nice. Like the pictures on line show. Could use a good pruning and trimming also around the pads as a lot of the tropical foliage is leaning over the site pad.

This is a great place to camp. Sites are nice, the grounds are well kept, and it is quiet.

The folks that run the RV park are friendly. The park was very clean they pick the trash up all day. We will definitely be staying again. The only thing I can think of that needs a little improvement is the bathroom and shower room. They could use a little cleaning we went to take our shower most night pretty late and they were a little dirty. Not bad though.

This was our first experience staying in an RV on vacation. We rented the RV and the owner set it up at Destin West. The park was very nice and clean, with beautiful landscaping. They picked up trash minutes after we set it out on the curb. The location was about 20 minutes from Destin so the traffic was not quite as congested. The resort across the street was great and we enjoyed using the beach there. There was a bar/restaurant and chair & umbrella rentals. Basically all you could ask for. My only complaint was that the laundry facility was so small. There were only 3 washers and 3 dryers, and we had to often wait to do laundry. The staff was very friendly though and overall, our stay was fantastic.

We just returned from our first camping trip at Destin West RV and we will definitely be back! The staff was amazing, especially Jamie. The location is right on the Bay with beach access just across the street. We rented a pontoon right next door and spent a day fishing and a day at Crab Island. The sites were roomy and clean. The water pressure wasn’t that great but it was good enough. There was a lot of traffic right in front of the campground. I don’t know if traffic is always that busy or if it was a result of people wanting to get out on vacation after living through the year of COVID. Regardless, we are looking forward to coming back for vacation next year and already booked our stay!

Very nice park located within minutes of everything you love about the Emerald Coast. Nice pool with access to boating on the Bayside. The only nit(s) I'd have would be the bright floodlights shining in our window from the water park west of the resort and sometimes loud music from the boardwalk club across 98.

We always have a good time here and there is excellent restaurant next door and the pool is warm. The RV park is kept clean and orderly.

This was a great 1st experience at the RV Park. We had four boys and they enjoyed it.
