Destin West Rv #37 Towable RV

We do love staying at Destin West RV. Drawbacks? Sure. The traffic sux. The location on a busy road isn't great. Have to walk across or drive over to the beach access. Positives? Well yeah! The traffic is not that bad considering we are camping in a business/beachfront resort. You get to hang out at the beautiful bay front locale AND you have access to the gorgeous gulf beach across the road, a short walk or drive. The dune top bar. Close to Crab Island and numerous other great places to eat. Did I mention The Grotto? And the sites are beautifully landscaped and the whole park is very well maintained. Love DW RV Resort!

Across the busy street from the beautiful white sand beach. Loved walking there to catch beautiful views and pictures of the sunset. Site was immaculate. Loved the brick paving!

Love this rv park my family and I have stayed here 2 years in a row and already booked our 3. Would highly recommend it.

This is a very nice place to stay close to the water.

We loved our time at Destin West RV Resort. From the location to the beautiful sites to the connection with the hotel across the street, it was a great week for us. Our son is stationed at the Air Force Base in Destin, so this was the icing on the cake for us to be close to him. All in all, a great RV resort. We will be back.

This was a very nice and quite place to stay.

The facility is very nicely maintained. There was a very nice family atmosphere there, our kids were very quickly running around with a group of other kids playing. Very dog friendly. We booked again for next year.

We had a nice view of the bay in site 37 (from the back of the camper - made that our little patio). The grounds and pool were nice even in early March and the staff was very accommodating.

This is a very clean campground. The sites are well maintained and the trees between each site provides privacy. The location is wonderful. The bay on one side, the beach on the other. Lots of restaurants and entertainment close by this location.

Destin West is a fantastic RV park! I would definitely stay there again. Spots were clean and private with the way the bushes and the trees are planted. Wi-Fi could use a little work but other than that excellent park. The Groundskeeper was absolutely fantastic in helping any way that he could. Every park should have someone like him.

Our experience was fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Weather sucked, but that's not your fault. Sites (we were in two) were very nice. It can be a challenge to get out of the property as the road can be extremely busy much of the day. But frankly, at $130 per night I think it was over-priced.

Wonderful little RV Park with a very attentive Staff. Located directly on the Chocktawatchee Bay just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Access to a resort pool and gym. Lots to do nearby.

Really nice site. Great picnic table with umbrella. Wonderful landscaping.
Highway is VERY dangerous to cross to get to the hotel/beach. Check in office needs to inform guests that they can use the skywalk next door.

44 years ago we stayed across the street at the hotel; in the 70s it was a Ramada Inn. It was wonderful to see The Island still in operation and going strong. Love the campground; especially the convenience of a restaurant within walking distance and a pier with boat rentals. The campground pier is plus for numerous reasons. Great place to stay for us ole time folks.
